This pattern intrigued me somewhat. Lixie knitted one at NW1k2tog, and I’d never done anything fulled before. Jaegar Natural Fleece is twice the mm of the recommended in the pattern, and it got HUGE!

However I read on various Fulling sites that to properly felt, the knitting needs to be somewhat looser than normal, and as this was just knitted on the yarn’s standard needle size, it wasn’t loose enough for Fulling.
I obtained some Pencil Roving from Handweavers Studio, and started again on 12mm.
