Never update your ‘blog from more than 1 PC!

Blurg! I’ve just editied the saved version at home, and uploaded it, before I remember that the version I had on my PC wasn’t the latest version!

I have that saved at work, so I can stitch it all back together on Monday, but it is annoying!

I managed another round of Lauren today whilst I was sitting at Granddad’s, so she is up to 116 Stitches on the needles. 🙂 128 is row 27, I will have to work my percentages out!

I ripped out the 2 sock rows I did, I dropped a stitch off of the needles right in the middle of a row, and it just all undid to the bottom. 🙁 No saving it with only 2 rows. I have some bamboos in 2.5 now, so hopefully, that will work better.

I went to Loop yesterday, and fondled the Silk-Garden again, but am being restrained on buying yarn as I have far too much stash!!! I did get some 9mm Addi turbos though, so I can do the FMB and a “Katcha-Katcha” Row counter , it was hiding, waiting for me to unearth it and take it home! 😉

I’ve also started the cast on for a “mystery project” I cannot tell you about it until after we give it to the recipient, in case she reads about it! Not sure I’m going to enjoy it though, it is Cotton, a yarn I haven’t used before, and it is to a specific demention, something else I’ve never done! yikes!

On other things, I’m feeling much better, cold had just about buzzed off. I’m off out tonight for lots of fun at Club Subversion, then Brunch tommorow around at my mate Harry’s, then onto the LFF and probably the LFF AMP. *note to self* Don’t forget to Sleep!

Yawn Yawn… Too much to do, not enough time!

I’m feeling guilty about not ‘blogging.. See I’m far too busy living life to talk about it all!

Throat is still sore, but I think I’m over the worse now. I have made the decision though, that going out Saturday night has to be a short one, otherwise, I won’t make my Brunch appointment for 12:30 on Sunday!

Not sure when I’m going to get to sit down at home either this weekend, I’ve got my plate full again, I’m trying to fit too much into my downtime.

I have finished my neck shrug though! I took it to NWk2tog, and Jane convinced me that picking up a row off of the “dead” end of the piece, and then knitting a few more rows from it and then making a 3 needle cast off was the way to play.

So, I did that, and it worked a treat!

Well, almost, I dropped a couple of stitches off of the front needle withouth realising I hadn’t gone through them, and only spotted it at the end! A pain, and so shows that I’d never done a 3-needle before, but nothing that a crochet hook and some weaving in couldn’t fix!

I also made a finger-braid for the pull cord of Handbag, (Rather than the twisted cord M&S recommend…) so it really is just a case of weaving in its ends and making a lining up for it at some point in the near. I *might* put a couple of tassles on the corners, as there is a little yarn left over, but not enough to be useful!

I’ve also ordered some 9mm DPNs to do a “French Market Bag” from Knitty. Lixie made one, and although she made it huge, in a very nice Debbie Bliss, the wool felted like a maniac, and she has ended up with a small handbag! It looks really sweet though. Hope mine turns out half as nice!

I’ve also cast on and first row’d for my sock! So, that WIP can get a new pic and a 1% in its bar, when I get back to my PC!

In fact, I’ve got lots of new pics I need to take… Can someone find me a time twister please? You know, like Hermionie has in Prisoner of Askabhan?

I so hate it when I am right…

That sore throat I predicted for myself.? It’s here in spades. Feel like crap reheated *Sigh*

Went to AngelKnits last night, and they are another bunch of really nice ladies. I nigh on finished my Silk Neck Shrug as well, just needs sewing up. I might try grafting it, if I can figure out how to do knit and purl kitchener…

Was too tired last night to update my WIP page last night though. I will do that Thursday probably, as I am out at NWk2tog and will get home later again. I want as much good sleep as I can possibly get my hands on right now!

WIPs and FO page mostly finished now… 🙂

I figured out how to make my layout… “float” the links and “clear” the divs. Mind you, this has given me some funny results for my text links!

Will have to sort that out tommorow, as it is Bed time for this missy! I like days where I get creative, be it with yarn or code, and it is nice to be able to show off my skills!

Now, *that* was a weekend…

Oh yes, oh yes, my that was a GOOD ONE.

Busy busy.

Friday: London Munch. I had to bail at around 21:30, simply because of last week’s sleep deprivation, but it was so nice to catch up with folk, and get my hug quota up.

Saturday:Kinkfest 2. The Workshop I gave with EGO went well. People came up to both of us afterwards and told us what a good job we had done in educating them, so hey, I must know something about it all! 😉

After that, I pretty much chilled out at the event for the rest of the day. My Spring Ligament injury has been particularly painful all week, and I don’t think standing up for the majoritory of the day helped the poor things much!

So, KF day was followed by the AfterParty, and that was fun in itself! I played with quite a few people, and suspect that I could have played with quite a few more! Ahh the woes of being popular 😉 I had rather a few intense scenes as well, I’m not normally that free in a club, but it seemed right, so I went for it far more sadisticaly than is usual for me… The recipient had a huge ‘dorphed-up grin on his face, so that cannot be too bad at all!

I think we got home around 5am, and woke up about 2pm on Sunday, got up around 6pm, went and found dinner at Bar38, watched “Top Gear” and back to bed for 10pm. Woke up at 6am, and sent him off to work with a very happy grin… Sleep and foolin’ around, so good for the soul! 😉
