Make history with us on 17 October by taking part in the biggest blog in history.
‘One Day in History’ is a one off opportunity for you to join in a mass blog for the national record. We want as many people as possible to record a ‘blog’ diary which will be stored by the British Library as a historical record of our national life.
Write your diary reflecting on how history itself impacted on your day – whether it just commuting through an historic environment, discussing family history or watching repeats on TV.
Here is My entry:
I woke up in the arms of my lover. It felt good to be warm and so loved. We are at a cruicial stage in our relationship… I suspect the next few days will make or break us.
Went to work, where I didn’t stop all day. Missed Lunch, not good.
Managed to sneak some time to put a few final touches to my new on-line e-shop, selling my own Hand dyed knitting yarns though.
Attended my knitting club in the evening, where I caught up with a friend I hadn’t seen for a good few moths, and then headed to Wagamama for Dinner!
Came home to an empty bed. Lover is away until Thursday.
I’m counting the hours…
